History of EGSS
Origin & Official Founding
The Emirates General Surgery Society (EGSS) was officially established on April 30th, 2024, under the auspices of the Emirates Medical Association (EMA). Formed to elevate surgical standards and unify the voices of general surgeons across the UAE, EGSS champions excellence in clinical practice, innovation, and professional collaboration at both regional and international levels.
