Dr. Fatma M. AlSaleh AlTeneiji is an Emirati General Surgeon with special focus on acute care & trauma surgery and an interest in complex wound management. In addition to being a Specialist Surgeon at Dubai Health, she is a Clinical Instructor of Surgery at Mohammed Bin Rashid University, she blends hands-on surgical expertise with a passion for teaching and research. Dr. AlSaleh has published and presented on trauma, hepatobiliary, and colorectal surgery, and is committed to advancing surgical care and education in the UAE.
Omar A. Bekdache, MD,MSc, FRCS, FACS, EBSQ is aConsultant General Surgeonat Tawam Hospital – formerJohns Hopkins affiliate &STMC, formerly in charge ofthe Trauma & Acute CareSurgery Service and held theposition of Chairman ofTrauma Committee. Dr Bekdache obtained his medical degree from the Lebanese University School of Medicine and residency training in General Surgery at the American University of Beirut Medical Center and Makassed General Hospital. He completed a Clinical fellowship in Trauma & Acute Care Surgery from the University of McGill – Canada. He holds the Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons ‘FACS’, the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow ‘FRCS’ in addition to a Masters Degree of Science & Experimental Surgery from McGill University – Canada. Dr Bekdache obtained in addition a clinical fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery from the Universities of Lille& Paris – France and holds the European Board of Surgery.
Dr. Fatima Al Harmoodi Is a Specialist General Surgeon at Sheikh Tahnoon Medical City (STMC) and tawam hospital with advanced training in minimal access surgery and trauma care . Interested in trauma and acute care surgery management with training in multiple trauma and disaster management courses
Dr. Nhayan Shahin is a trauma and specialist general surgeon at Zayed Military Hospital, Abu Dhabi. Dr. Shahin has completed his training at the University of Manitoba for a surgical residency and then went on to do a fellowship in Trauma General Surgery at Mcgill. He has an interest in military trauma and abdominal wall reconstruction. Ultimately, Dr. Nhayan aims to improve surgical care, surgical collaboration and the level of surgical training in the United Arab Emirates.
